Cookie Policy
Effective date: 2026-09-16
1. How this policy relates to our Terms of Service
Glotronic LLC ("Glotronic," "we," "us," or "our") is the company behind this policy. Defined terms used here, including "Product," "Site," "Services," "Software," "User," "You," "Your," and "Engagement," have the same meaning given to them in our Terms of Service; we're not redefining them separately in this document. This policy explains what cookies and similar browser storage we use, and why.
2. Our stance
We don't use cookies for tracking, analytics, or advertising, and we don't have any third-party trackers on the Site. The only cookies we use are strictly necessary ones that keep the Site working. This page lists all of them; nothing here is left out.
3. Cookies we use
- csrftoken: set when you load a page with a form on it (currently our contact form). It protects the form from being submitted from another website on your behalf. It doesn't identify you and isn't used for tracking.
- sessionid: set only when a Glotronic team member signs in to manage the Site. It keeps that person signed in between requests. Ordinary visitors browsing the public Site never receive this cookie.
Before our staging environment (where we test changes before they go live) is opened to public traffic, it also uses one additional access-gate cookie to keep unfinished work private. It's never present on the live, production Site.
4. Local storage (not a cookie, but similar in spirit)
The light/dark theme toggle in the header saves your preference
using your browser's local storage, under the key theme.
This stays entirely on your device: it's never sent to us, we can't
read it, and it's separate from cookies. You can clear it any time
through your browser's site data settings.
5. Third-party cookies
We don't currently use any. When our invoicing feature launches, paying an invoice will take you to PayPal's own checkout, which operates under PayPal's cookie and privacy practices, not ours; at that point we'll link to PayPal's policy from here.
6. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies through your browser's settings. Since we only use strictly necessary cookies, doing so may break the contact form or sign you out of the staff area, but it won't affect anything else on the Site.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Site evolves. We'll update the effective date when we do. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
8. Terms of Service controls in a conflict
This Cookie Policy sits alongside our Terms of Service, using the same defined terms described there. If anything in this Cookie Policy conflicts with the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service control.
9. Contact
Questions about this policy can go through our contact form.
