Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2026-09-16
1. How this policy relates to our Terms of Service
Glotronic LLC ("Glotronic," "we," "us," or "our") is the company behind this policy. Defined terms used here, including "Product," "Site," "Services," "Software," "User," "You," "Your," and "Engagement," have the same meaning given to them in our Terms of Service; we're not redefining them separately in this document. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what we do with it.
2. What we collect from the contact form
If you use our contact form, we collect the name, email address, and message you submit. That submission is sent directly to us as an email; it isn't stored in a database on our end. Your email address is used only to reply to you and is included as the reply-to address on that message. We don't claim any ownership over what you send us, and we won't publish or reuse it for anything beyond responding to you without asking first.
3. Cookies and local storage
We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies, and no tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies. The full breakdown, including what each one does and what browser storage we use for the light/dark theme toggle, is in our Cookie Policy.
4. Staff and admin access
Glotronic team members sign in to a separate, non-public part of the Site to manage its content. That sign-in process uses an email address, a time-based one-time passcode from an authenticator app, and a backup email-delivered code, along with the standard session cookies described in our Cookie Policy. This section applies only to Glotronic personnel, not to visitors or clients.
5. Invoicing and payments (coming later)
We're building an invoicing feature that will let clients pay us through PayPal. When it launches, paying an invoice will mean PayPal processes your payment directly; Glotronic will not receive or store your card number or other payment credentials. We'll update this policy with more detail before that feature goes live, consistent with what's already described in our Terms of Service.
6. Other third parties
We use an email delivery service to send messages from the Site (contact form replies, and staff sign-in codes). We don't use analytics providers, advertising networks, or any other third party that would receive data about your visit to the Site.
7. Infrastructure logs
Like most web infrastructure, our servers keep short-lived request logs (things like IP address and requested page) for security and troubleshooting purposes. These aren't used for tracking or profiling, and they're rotated out after a limited period rather than kept indefinitely.
8. Your rights
Since we don't maintain a database of visitor or contact-form information, there's typically very little of yours for us to export or delete. If you'd like to ask what we hold about you, or have us delete a message you sent us, contact us and we'll sort it out directly.
9. Children's privacy
The Site isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Site and our services evolve. We'll update the effective date when we do. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
11. Terms of Service controls in a conflict
This Privacy Policy sits alongside our Terms of Service, using the same defined terms described there. If anything in this Privacy Policy conflicts with the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service control.
12. Contact
Questions about this policy can go through our contact form.
